A nod to one of my favorite novels by author George McDonald. This very author inspired J. R. R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Lewis found the book Phantastes as a teenager in a train station. Lewis quotes, “Picking up a copy of Phantastes one day at a train-station bookstall, I began to read. A few hours later I knew that I had crossed a great frontier.”
Sometimes the greats are hidden away for a time to be resurrected right when you need to hear from them. Phantasetes is a Faerie Romance story led by an enchanting sprite and takes one man on an adventure to follow her. The visual imagery evokes a spell binding story that touches not just your imagination but your very soul. Perhaps where you are now you are in your own train station.
