Calling Me North

$1,400.00

This photograph was taken while driving up the coast from Seward to Anchorage. We knew we were leaving and moving much further into a newer north, into the interior of Alaska outside of Fairbanks.  Our drive was an essential good-bye to our favorite haunts. It was the first snow of the year, as we came around the bend this beautiful landscape caught our eye in the glint of the snowflakes. This train bridge was today and one hundred years ago all at once.
