Who doesn't remember seeing their first poppy, bright brilliance smattered proudly up against the warm sky. Shocking that their stem holds their proud and lovely heads up so high as they nod affections in the breeze. We took this photograph on the grounds of the Getty Museum in Los Angeles taking a short walk outside. It both framed the art sculptures and was art itself. I think their boast should be just as loud as all the famous works held inside.
