A photo taken ironically while out with our children at the Alaska Zoo. This raven was not caged and landed high in the large boughs of the tree right above us. It had the privilege and the capacity to come and go as it saw fit. This speaks to a time of goodness, of cornucopia feasting off of all the lavish banqueting tables in life. Who doesn’t seek an exalted view surrounded by provision. We all wish for it. Many of us have more of it than we know.
